MoneyPilot

Privacy Policy

MoneyPilot version 1.0 for iPhone.

Last updated: 8 October 2026

What stays on your iPhone

MoneyPilot stores the accounts, transactions, budgets, and settings you enter in the app’s private storage on your iPhone. The app uses those records to show you what you entered and to prepare alerts from them.

The app does not connect to a bank or any other financial institution. It does not hold or move money. There is no MoneyPilot account.

This version does not open network connections and does not include an analytics or advertising SDK. Nothing you enter is sent to the developer, to an analytics service, or to an AI service.

Protection on the device

The app asks iOS to protect those files with complete file protection, so they are unavailable while the iPhone is locked, and it marks its data directory as excluded from device backup. This version does not offer export or restore. If you delete your data in the app, it is removed from that iPhone.

Notifications and display

Local notifications, when you turn them on and allow them, use general wording. They do not put amounts, account names, or category names on the Lock Screen.

The app follows the iPhone’s Reduce Motion setting.

Some totals stay partial when a recorded transaction cannot be converted into your reporting currency. The app does not fill in a missing rate.

Languages

Financial messages — budget alerts, spending comparisons, a suggested review of recorded transactions, and the words used for up and down — are available in English, Hindi, Swedish, German, French, and Spanish. The rest of the interface is English.

Information the developer receives

The developer does not receive the contents of your records. For this version, data is not collected. See also Support.
